Career Fair and Company Information on Handshake

This year, the career fair information will be on Handshake! Handshake is the new career management system that is available to all Krannert students. There are more than 550,000 employers, including all the Fortune 500 so Handshake has quickly become the #1 platform for college students looking for internships and jobs.

Through Handshake you can:

  • Register for the fair
  • Search the list of employers attending the fair
  • Follow employers to get updates
  • Apply for jobs/internships
  • Search for and attend for company events
  • Schedule on-campus interviews
  • The potential to be contacted directly by employers. (requires complete profile and public resume)

Handshake for all other Purdue WL majors. Any student can create a Handshake account. Go to Join Handshake and register using your Purdue email. This will give you access to our career fair and company information. Additionally, you’ll be able to access employers, jobs and events that are publicly posted in Handshake. Refer to the Handshake help center for more details.

The career fair employer information and the jobs they have available are also available on Handshake. If you haven’t already done so, please activate your Handshake account, complete your profile, upload your resume and make it public and register for the fair. If the link above does not work, go to krannert.joinhandshake.com/ and login with your Purdue login/password and go to the Events section. Registration for the career fair is preferred but not required to attend the fair.

Apply to Job Postings

You will make a great impression on an employer if you tell them (during the fair) that you have already applied to their Full-Time job opportunity or Internship. Prior to the career fair, we recommend researching companies that are attending to see what positions they have posted and apply to any of interest. Apply on Handshake and on the company website/LinkedIn if you are not directed there to apply.

In addition to Handshake, some companies may post their positions on myCCO. You can look at each company or search the list of jobs.
