Apply to be a Company Host!

We hope to bring back Company hosts when the career fair returns to in person.

What is a Company Host?

The School of Business Career Council career fair hosts make the career fair week possible each semester. Each host is a volunteer and is selected based on an application. If selected as a host, they are trained by the Director of Student Relations and her committee on the ins and outs of the career fair and are responsible for representing SBCC, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business, and Purdue to company representatives.

Hosts are assigned to all events, including the Career Fair and Company Presentations. Additionally, each career fair host is assigned several companies at the fair that they are personally responsible for welcoming and hosting.

Benefits of Hosting

You get to network with 30 School of Business Career Council members along with the selected hosts for the respective fair – this group consists of some of the most talented and involved School of Business students.

You will further develop interpersonal and professional skills through trainings and real-life application.

You will have the opportunity to be the first point of contact for corporate recruiters and connect with them personally, many of which are Krannert/Daniels alumni.
